Enochian Gematria

What is this?

I couldn't find a good Angelic/Enochian gematria program anywhere on the Internet, so I decided to make one myself. I also included a dictionary for good measure (based on the one here).

It uses six ciphers: Aurum Solis, Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley, Prime Numbers (less of a source, more of a theoretical consideration), Tony Victor's Book, and the English Qabalah (because why not). There are undoubtedly others, but those are the ones that I've opted to include. Of them, I prefer Aurum Solis' because it seems to respect the language's alphabet's letter-order most explicitly.

I also created a dictionary lookup that is fairly robust based on the same dictionary mentioned earlier. I will say, it is riddled with a number of errors and arbitrary associations. However, as far as free things floating around on the Internet, you could do worse.

Who am I?

I like using the name Lorselq for a number of projects. I have been (here and again) deep-diving into Enochiana since late 2017, and I have found a lot of joy in picking apart the language and finding hidden relations within the system. The language nerd in me loves constructed languages almost out of principle.

What exists here?

Besides the Enochian Gematria and Enochian Dictionary tools, you can find a few rituals and practices I have reimagined to utilize the Enochian language and adhere to Enochian cosmology. I used to include general musings on the occult on this site, but I have decided to redesign and streamline this site. Some of those occult musings, as well as a fair deal of my creative projects, can be found here.

The Ciphers

In case you were curious, here are the ciphers that I am using.

The documentation supporting these is scarce. When I started this project, I only knew of the Aurum Solis cipher via the dictionary linked above (and I didn't even know that it was Aurum Solis' cipher—I thought it was the only cipher!). After a little digging, I discovered there are three "official" ciphers, which are all located here.

However, being a skeptical individual, I wanted other sources to corroborate a random text file on the Internet. Thus far, I have found this for Aurum Solis. The link I had to the Golden Dawn gematria .pdf is broken; lesson learned, I'll be sure to download in the future because it's never clear when something will disappear from the Internet. As for Aleister Crowley's Enochian gematria values, I found a table in the Schulers' The Enochian Workbook that contains a correct table of values, which is ultimately sourced from The Vision and the Voice.

I was inspired to add the cipher using prime numbers after reading this post on Enochian Today. Give the site a look if you haven't before—it's decidedly interesting.
